Full Moon Resort
As Bar Manager at Full Moon Resort, Maxwell leads the bar department, overseeing both FOH guest experience & BOH administrative bar operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Private event bartending & management of diverse event productions (Ranging from 10-300+ guests) - Opening, closing, and managing up to 3 different bar service locations daily across multi-day events
- Directing beverage program including rotating bar selections, house specialty drinks, & seasonal specials
- Upholding compliance with serving and bar sanitation standards in accordance with NYS health code
- Managing Square POS systems, cash handling, and event drink tabulation with accuracy
- Managing inventory; including wine, beer, liquor, mixers, glassware, garnish fruit, and more
- Coordinating wholesale ordering & communication with liquor, beer, and wine distributors
- Developing and maintaining bar menus/website content, ensuring alignment with the brand
- Cultivating and managing relationships with private event clients, vendors, and patrons
- Coordinating & communicating with GM, EM, service, maintenance, & kitchen departments
- Managing, training, and scheduling a full-time/part time bar team
